Divide the dough into two equal balls. Flatten each ball between your palms and then pat into a 6‑inch round disc on a lightly floured surface.

Heat the tawa over medium heat. Place a bhakri on the hot surface, cook for about 1‑2 minutes until small bubbles appear, flip, and cook the other side for another 1‑2 minutes. Press gently with a cloth to puff it up.
