Ingredients
- 2 cups Puffed Rice (lightly toasted if desired)
- 2 medium Potatoes (peeled, boiled until tender, then diced)
- 1 large Tomato (seeded and finely diced)
- 1 medium Onion (finely chopped)
- 1 piece Green Chili (medium red chili, finely chopped (adjust heat to taste))
- 2 tablespoons Fresh Coriander Leaves (roughly chopped)
- 3 tablespoons Tamarind Chutney (store‑bought or homemade)
- 1/4 cup Roasted Peanuts (coarsely crushed)
- 1/2 cup Sev (crispy chickpea‑flour noodles)
- 1 teaspoon Black Salt (also called kala namak)
- 1 teaspoon Chaat Masala (spicy tangy spice blend)
- 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice (freshly squeezed)
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt (to taste)
Instructions
Boil the Potatoes
Place the peeled potatoes in a saucepan, cover with water, add a pinch of salt and bring to a boil. Cook until fork‑tender, about 8‑10 minutes. Drain, let cool slightly, then dice into small cubes.

Prep the Fresh Ingredients
