- 2 tablespoons Vegetable Oil (any neutral oil)
- 1 can (15 oz) Black Beans (drained and rinsed)
- 1 packet Sazón Seasoning (store‑bought or homemade)
- 3 cups Water (room temperature)
- 1 cube Chicken Bouillon Cube (dissolved in water)
- 3 cups Long Grain White Rice (rinsed until water runs clear)
- 1 tablespoon Fresh Cilantro (chopped)
Instructions
Make Garlic Paste
In a mortar, combine the 4 garlic cloves, ½ tsp dried oregano, and ½ tsp salt. Pound until a smooth paste forms.

Heat 2 tbsp vegetable oil in the large pot over medium‑high heat. Add the garlic paste and sauté for about 30 seconds, stirring constantly to avoid burning.
