- 400 g Granulated Sugar (fine)
- 60 g All-Purpose Flour (sifted)
- 70 g Cocoa Powder (unsweetened)
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract (pure)
- 225 g Unsalted Butter (melted, cooled slightly)
Instructions
Preheat Oven and Prepare Pan
Preheat the oven to 180°C. Line the 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper, allowing excess to hang over the sides for easy removal.

Melt Butter
Place the butter in a saucepan over low heat. Melt gently, stirring occasionally, then remove from heat and let cool for a minute so it’s warm but not hot.
