Chef Tips from the Video
- Use high‑quality chocolate (minimum 70 % cocoa) for an intense flavor

- Let the batter rest for 10 minutes at room temperature before baking; it makes the cake even more airy
Troubleshooting
The cake is too dense
Check that the baking powder is still active and do not over‑mix the batter after adding the flour.
The cake sticks to the bottom
Make sure the pan is well buttered and floured, or use parchment paper.
The top is too pale
Extend baking by 5 to 10 minutes or place the pan under the grill for 1‑2 minutes at the end.
Storage
Refrigerator: Store the cake in an airtight container for 3 to 4 days.
Freezer: Wrap individually and freeze for up to 2 months.
Room temperature: At room temperature for up to 1 day, protected from humidity.
Make-Ahead Tips
