Ingredients
- 1 cup Long Grain White Rice (rinsed until water runs clear)
- 2 cups Water (or vegetable/chicken stock for extra flavor)
- 2 tablespoons Olive Oil (extra virgin preferred)
- 1 small Yellow Onion (finely chopped)
- 2 cloves Garlic Cloves (minced finely)
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt (to taste)
- 1/4 cup Fresh Cilantro (loosely packed, chopped)
- 3 tablespoons Lime Juice (freshly squeezed (about 2 limes))
Instructions
Prepare aromatics and herbs
Finely chop the onion, mince the garlic, chop the cilantro and juice the limes. Set aside.

Place the rice in a fine mesh sieve and rinse under cold running water until the water runs clear, draining well.
