Ingredients
- 14 oz Firm Tofu (pressed and cut into 1‑inch cubes)
- 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce (low‑sodium preferred)
- 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil (adds nutty flavor)
- 2 tablespoons Cornstarch (creates the crispy coating)
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder (for seasoning)
- 1 teaspoon Smoked Paprika (adds smoky depth)
- ½ teaspoon Black Pepper (freshly ground)
Instructions
Press the tofu
Wrap the tofu block in paper towels, place a heavy pan on top, and let it sit for 2 minutes to remove excess moisture.

Cube the tofu
Transfer the pressed tofu to a cutting board and cut into 1‑inch cubes.

Marinate
In a mixing bowl, whisk soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and black pepper. Add the tofu cubes and toss gently to coat. Let sit for 5 minutes.
