Ingredients
- 200 g Spaghetti (dry, any shape works)
- 1 tbsp Salt (kosher or sea salt for boiling water)
- 2 tbsp Unsalted Butter (cut into small pieces)
- 0.25 cup Parmesan Cheese (freshly grated)
- 0.5 tsp Black Truffle Salt (finely ground, aromatic)
- 4 L Water (for boiling pasta)
Instructions
Boil Water and Salt
Fill the large pot with 4 L of water, cover, and bring to a rolling boil. Add 1 tbsp of salt once boiling.

Cook Pasta
Add the 200 g spaghetti to the boiling water, stir occasionally, and cook until al dente (8‑10 minutes).
Time: PT8M
Reserve Pasta Water and Drain
Before draining, scoop out ¼ cup of the hot pasta water and set aside. Then pour the pasta into a colander to drain.

Combine Butter
Return the drained pasta to the pot over low heat. Add 2 tbsp butter and toss until fully melted and coating the noodles.

Add Cheese and Truffle Salt
Sprinkle the grated Parmesan and ½ tsp black truffle salt over the pasta. Toss, adding a little reserved pasta water if needed for a silky finish.

Serve
Plate the pasta immediately, optionally garnish with extra Parmesan. Serve while hot.
