- 2 cup Water (For cooking rice)

- ½ tsp Black Pepper (Freshly ground if possible)
- 1 cup Frozen Mixed Vegetables (Optional, adds color and fiber)
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil (For browning beef)
Instructions
Cook the Rice
Rinse the rice until the water runs clear. Combine rice, water, and ½ tsp salt in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes until water is absorbed and rice is tender.
