- 2 leaves Iceberg Lettuce (Shredded; tossed with olive oil and vinegar)
- 1 medium Long Island Beefsteak Tomato (Thinly sliced; placed under mozzarella)
- 4 oz Fresh Mozzarella (Thin slices; should touch the tomato to melt slightly)
- 4 oz Capicola (Gabagool) (Thinly sliced deli meat)
- 4 oz Soprasata (Thinly sliced spicy Italian salami)
- 4 oz Mortadella (with pistachios) (Thinly sliced; Italian bologna with pistachios)
- 4 oz Pepperoni (Thinly sliced)
- 4 oz Prosciutto (Thinly sliced)
- 2 tbsp Pickled Red Onions (Provides zing and crunch)
- 2 tbsp Marinated Pepper Slices (Adds a little heat and texture)
Instructions
Prepare the Bread Base
Lay out two slices of semolina bread. Drizzle each bottom slice with 1 tbsp olive oil, ½ tbsp red wine vinegar, and sprinkle ½ tsp dried oregano. Do not add vinegar to the top slice.

Season the Lettuce
Wash and pat dry iceberg lettuce leaves. Shred them, place on a small bowl, drizzle with the remaining 1 tbsp olive oil and ½ tbsp red wine vinegar, then toss lightly.
