Ingredients

• 2 bars Bar Soap (plain, unperfumed household soap; each about 100 g)
• 100 ml Water (room temperature)
• 50 ml Milk (whole milk, optional for smoother melt)
• 1 piece Rubber Glove (clean, disposable kitchen glove used as a mold)

Instructions

1. Cut Soap into Small Pieces

   Place the two bars of soap on a clean cutting board and use a sharp knife to cut them into very fine, bite‑size pieces.

2. Attempt to Melt Soap

   Add the soap pieces, water, and milk to a saucepan. Heat over low to medium heat, stirring constantly, until the soap begins to soften.

   Temperature: medium heat

3. Steam‑Assist if Needed

   If the soap still resists melting, place the saucepan in a larger pot of simmering water (double‑boiler method) for an additional 5 minutes.

4. Transfer Melted Soap to Glove

   Remove the saucepan from heat. Quickly pour the softened soap mixture into the clean rubber glove, shaping it to resemble a hand.

5. Refrigerate to Set

   Seal the glove’s opening with a twist tie or clip and place it in the refrigerator for at least seven hours until fully hardened.

6. Remove and Finish

   After the soap has set, gently remove the glove. Trim any excess soap with scissors. Your soap hand mold is now ready for display or further use.
