- 8 cloves Black Garlic Cloves (peeled)
- 2 cups Fresh Basil Leaves (loosely packed, washed and dried)
- 0.25 cup Pine Nuts (lightly toasted)
- 0.5 cup Parmesan Cheese (freshly grated)
- 0.5 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil (good quality, room temperature)
- 1 tbsp Lemon Juice (freshly squeezed)
- 0.5 tsp Salt (to taste)
- 0.25 tsp Black Pepper (freshly ground)
Instructions
Prepare Ingredients
Peel the black garlic cloves, toast the pine nuts in a dry skillet over medium heat until golden, and wash and dry the basil leaves.

Blend Garlic and Basil
Add the peeled black garlic and basil leaves to the food processor and pulse until coarsely chopped.

Add Remaining Dry Ingredients
Add toasted pine nuts, grated Parmesan, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Pulse a few times to combine.
