- 1 teaspoon Ground Cumin

- 1.5 teaspoons Olive Oil (extra virgin)
- 3 tablespoons Lime Juice (freshly squeezed)
- 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice (freshly squeezed)
- 0.25 cup Fresh Cilantro (loosely packed, minced; or 0.25 cup cilantro paste (1:1 substitution))
Instructions
Rinse the Rice
Place the 2 cups of brown rice in a fine mesh sieve and rinse under cold running water until the water runs clear.

Boil Water
In the saucepan, combine 4 cups of water and bring to a rolling boil over medium‑high heat.

Add Rice and Seasonings
