- 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce (light soy sauce)
- 1 tablespoon Oyster Sauce (adds umami; can substitute hoisin sauce)
- 1 teaspoon Sesame Oil (toasted sesame oil for aroma)
- 60 ml Water (room temperature)
- 1 teaspoon Granulated Sugar (balances salty flavors)
- 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
- 2 tablespoons Cooking Oil (vegetable oil for frying)
Instructions
Season and Dust Chicken
Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and pepper. Lightly dust the skin side with plain flour, shaking off any excess.
