- 1 tsp Sazón Seasoning (Latin‑style seasoning blend)
- 0.5 tsp Paprika (smoked or sweet)
- 0.25 tsp Old Bay Seasoning (optional)
- 1 tsp Lemon Juice (optional, adds brightness)
- 1 clove Fresh Garlic (minced; for garlic‑parmesan variation)
- 2 Tbsp Parmesan Cheese (freshly grated; for garlic‑parmesan variation)
Instructions
Trim and Cut the Onion
Slice off the top of the onion, then make a shallow cut around the middle to separate the layers like a flower. Carefully pull apart the layers to create a hollow cavity while keeping the outer skin intact.
