- 0.5 teaspoon Kosher Salt (adjust to taste)
- 0.5 teaspoon Lemon Juice (freshly squeezed)
- 0.5 teaspoon Lime Juice (freshly squeezed)
Instructions
Rinse and Measure Rice
Place 2 cups of white long grain rice in a fine mesh sieve and rinse under cold water until the water runs clear. Drain well.
Time: PT2M
Add Rice, Water, and Bay Leaf to Cooker
Transfer the rinsed rice to the rice cooker inner pot, add 3 cups of water and 1 bay leaf. Close the lid and select the white rice setting.
Time: PT2M
Chop Cilantro While Rice Cooks
Roughly chop one bunch of fresh cilantro on a cutting board using a chef's knife. Set aside.

Season Rice with Oil
Open the rice cooker, remove the bay leaf, and drizzle 2.5 tablespoons of rice bran oil over the hot rice. Gently fluff with a rice paddle or spoon to coat the grains.

Cover the rice cooker again and let the rice rest for 10 minutes so the oil fully penetrates the grains.
Time: PT10M
