Ingredients

- 1 cup Jasmine Rice (rinsed 3 times until water runs clear)
- 6 cup Water (for cooking the congee)
- 2 stalks Scallion Greens (chopped, green parts only)
- 1 tsp Fresh Ginger (minced)
- 0.5 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Chicken Bouillon Powder
Instructions
Marinate Chicken
In a mixing bowl combine sliced chicken breast, soy sauce, avocado oil, corn starch, and white pepper. Toss to coat and let sit while you prepare the rice.

Rinse Jasmine Rice
Place the jasmine rice in a fine‑mesh sieve and rinse under cold running water at least three times, or until the water runs clear.

Bring Water to a Boil
Add 6 cups of water to the medium pot, cover, and bring to a rolling boil over high heat.

Temperature: 212°F
Add Rice and Initial Stir
Once boiling, add the rinsed rice, give a quick stir to distribute, then immediately stop stirring.
