Ingredients
- 4.5 Tbsp White Vinegar (distilled, Filipino style)
- 0.5 Cup Water (room temperature)
- 1 pc Onion (diced)
- 1 pc Green Chili Pepper (chopped, seeds optional)
- 3 Tbsp Light Brown Sugar (packed)
- 1 Tbsp Soy Sauce (light soy sauce preferred)
- 0.25 tsp Salt (regular table salt)
- 2 pc Red Chili Peppers (optional, chopped for extra heat)
Instructions
Prepare the vegetables
Dice the onion, chop the green chili pepper, and if using, chop the red chili peppers.

Combine liquid base
In the small bowl, add the white vinegar and water.

Add aromatics and seasoning
Stir in the diced onion, chopped green chili, light brown sugar, soy sauce, and salt.
