- 70 grams Coriander stalks (cilantro stems) (Roughly chopped; leafy tops can be reserved for garnish)
- 150 grams Green bell pepper (Deseeded and roughly chopped; about 1 medium pepper)
- 10 grams Green chilies (Mild or hot, to taste; about 2-3 small chilies, stemmed)
- 1 cup Water (To help blend into a smooth paste)
- 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil (Neutral oil, helps preserve the paste)
Instructions
Prepare the coriander stalks
Rinse the coriander thoroughly. Cut off the leafy tops (reserve for garnish in other recipes) and roughly chop the stalks into 2-3 inch pieces.

Slice the green bell pepper in half, remove the seeds and white membrane, then roughly chop.

Remove stems from green chilies. If you want less heat, remove the seeds. Roughly chop.
