Ingredients

- 1/4 cup Soy Sauce (Low‑sodium preferred)
- 2 tbsp Brown Sugar (Packed)
- 1 tbsp Sesame Oil (Toasted sesame oil for flavor)
- 2 cloves Garlic (Minced)
- 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1/4 tsp Black Pepper (Freshly ground)
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil (For sautéing)
- 1 tbsp Sesame Seeds (Toasted)
- 2 stalks Green Onions (Thinly sliced, both white and green parts)
- 2 cups Cooked Rice (White or brown rice, cooled)
- 1 cup Mixed Veggies (Steamed or sautéed (e.g., broccoli, carrots, bell pepper))
Instructions
Prepare the Sauce
In a mixing bowl combine soy sauce, brown sugar, toasted sesame oil, minced garlic, garlic powder, and black pepper. Stir until the sugar dissolves.

Cook the Ground Beef
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium‑high heat. Add the lean ground beef, breaking it up with a spatula. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the beef is nearly browned but still a bit pink in the center.

Add Sauce and Simmer
