Chef Tips from the Video
- Use mineral or spring water for a purer taste.
- Do not skim the soup; the butter adds body and flavor.
- A drizzle of truffle oil at the end adds a luxurious note.
Troubleshooting
The soup is too thick.
Add a little hot water or broth until the desired consistency is reached.
The soup lacks flavor.
Adjust with a bit more salt and pepper, or a pinch of nutmeg.
The cream separates.
Remove the pot from the heat, let it cool slightly, then incorporate the cream gently while whisking.
