Ingredients
- 500 g Lean Ground Beef (90% lean, minced)
- 500 g Taco Seasoning (store‑bought packet or homemade blend)
- 750 ml Beef Stock (low‑sodium; can use water + bouillon cube)
- 300 g White Rice (long‑grain, rinsed before cooking)
- 30 g Tomato Puree (canned or tube, no added sugar)
- 70 g Low‑Fat Cheddar Cheese (shredded)
Instructions
Measure and Prepare Ingredients
Gather all ingredients, measure the beef, taco seasoning, stock, rice, tomato puree and cheese. Rinse the rice under cold water and set aside.

Brown the Beef and Add Seasoning
Heat the skillet over medium heat, add the lean ground beef and cook, breaking it up, until no longer pink. Sprinkle the taco seasoning over the meat and stir well.

Add Liquids, Rice and Tomato Puree
Pour in the beef stock, add the rinsed rice and stir in the tomato puree. Mix everything evenly.
