Ingredients
- 1 cup (240ml) Filtered water (Warm, not boiling (about 45°C/113°F))
- 1 tablespoon Apple cider vinegar (with the mother) (Organic preferred)
- 1/2 lemon (about 1 tablespoon juice) Lemon juice (Freshly squeezed)
- 1 teaspoon MCT oil or extra virgin olive oil (Choose MCT oil for a neutral flavor and faster ketone production, or extra virgin olive oil for heart health)
- 1 small pinch Pink Himalayan salt (For potassium and electrolyte balance)
- 1/8 teaspoon Ceylon cinnamon (true cinnamon) (Ceylon (not cassia) preferred for safety and flavor)
- 1/2 teaspoon Ginger (freshly grated or ground) (Fresh preferred, or use ground ginger)
Instructions
Heat the water
Heat 1 cup (240ml) of filtered water until warm (about 45°C/113°F). Do not boil. The water should feel pleasantly warm to the touch, not hot.

Juice the lemon
Cut a fresh lemon in half and squeeze out the juice from one half (about 1 tablespoon). Remove any seeds.

Grate or measure ginger
If using fresh ginger, peel and grate 1/2 teaspoon. If using ground ginger, measure out 1/2 teaspoon.

Combine base ingredients
Pour the warm water into a heatproof glass or mug. Add 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar, the freshly squeezed lemon juice, and 1 teaspoon MCT oil or extra virgin olive oil. Stir well to emulsify.

Add a small pinch of pink Himalayan salt, a pinch (about 1/8 teaspoon) of Ceylon cinnamon, and the grated or ground ginger. Stir again until well mixed.
