Ingredients
- 260 g Type 45 Flour (all-purpose flour, sifted)
- 15 g Baking powder (baking powder)
- 1 sachet Vanilla sugar (about 8 g)
- 160 g Sugar (can be reduced to 120 g according to taste)
- 125 g Plain yogurt (plain, unsweetened yogurt)
- 110 g Sunflower oil (neutral vegetable oil)
- 1 pinch Salt (fine salt)
Instructions
Prepare ingredients and preheat the oven
Measure all ingredients. Preheat the oven to 170°C on fan (convection) mode.

Mix sugar, vanilla sugar and salt
In the bowl, pour the sugar, the packet of vanilla sugar and the pinch of salt. Beat with a whisk for 1 minute until the mixture is homogeneous.

Incorporate the yogurt
Add the plain yogurt to the sugar‑salt mixture and mix until a smooth batter is obtained.

Add the oil
Pour the sunflower oil and mix again. The oil makes the cake very moist.
