Ingredients
- 3 pcs Very ripe bananas (Peel and lightly mash, keep some texture)
- 100 g Unsalted butter (Melt in the microwave)
- 150 g White sugar
- 3 pcs Eggs (Crack into a small bowl to avoid shells)
- 200 g All-purpose flour (Sift before incorporating)
- 50 g Dark chocolate chips or chopped chocolate (Choose 70 % cocoa chocolate for more intensity)
- 1 tbsp Rum (optional) (Adds an aromatic note, can be omitted)
- 0,5 tsp Baking soda
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 1 packet Vanilla sugar packet
Instructions
Melt the butter
Place the butter in a microwave‑safe bowl and heat on high power for 1 minute until completely melted.

Mix butter and sugar
Pour the sugar into the melted butter, whisk until you obtain a homogeneous and slightly creamy mixture.

Add the eggs
Crack each egg into a small bowl, then add it to the butter‑sugar mixture, whisking between each addition to avoid shells.

Prepare the bananas
Peel the three bananas, remove any strings, then roughly mash with a fork leaving some chunks.

Mix bananas and aromatics
Stir the mashed bananas into the batter, add the rum (if desired), the vanilla sugar, the baking powder and the baking soda, then mix quickly.
