Chef Tips from the Video

Troubleshooting
The broccoli becomes soggy after cooking.
Observe the 1‑minute blanching time and cool immediately under cold water.
The sauce does not thicken.
Mix the starch with a little cold water before adding, or let the sauce reduce an additional 1‑2 minutes.
The beef is too tough.
Ensure slices are cut against the grain and do not overcook (only 1‑2 minutes).
Storage
Refrigerator: Store in an airtight container for 2 to 3 days.
Freezer: Not recommended; broccoli texture deteriorates after freezing.
Room temperature: Do not leave at room temperature for more than 2 hours.
Make-Ahead Tips
- Prepare the sauce and keep it refrigerated for 24 hours.
- Marinate the beef for 15 minutes before cooking for more flavor.
