Ingredients
- 200 g Feta Cheese (block, cut into a thick slice)
- 600 g Cherry Tomatoes (whole, can halve if large)
- 1 Red Chili (whole, seeds left in for heat)
- 400 g Spaghetti (any good quality dry pasta)
- 10 leaves Fresh Basil (torn roughly)
- 3 Tbsp Olive Oil (extra‑virgin, divided)
- to taste Salt
- to taste Black Pepper
- 30 g Parmesan Cheese (freshly grated, optional garnish)

Preheat Oven
Set the oven to 200°C (392°F) and let it preheat while you prepare the ingredients.

Prepare Ingredients
Slice the red chili lengthwise, leaving the seeds in for extra heat. Rinse the cherry tomatoes and set aside.

Assemble Baking Dish
Drizzle 1 Tbsp olive oil into the baking dish, place the block of feta in the centre, scatter the cherry tomatoes around it, lay the sliced chili on top of the feta, then drizzle the remaining olive oil over everything. Season with salt and pepper.

Place the dish in the middle rack and bake for 15 minutes.

Roast Finish
Increase the oven temperature to 225°C (437°F), switch to roast mode, move the tray to the top rack and roast for another 10 minutes until the tomatoes are caramelised and the feta is creamy.

While the feta bakes, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil, add the spaghetti and cook al dente according to package instructions (about 8‑10 minutes).
