- 4 units Pears (peeled, cored and diced (3 for the batter, 1 for decoration))
- 150 ml Liquid cream (30% fat) (or whole milk or plain yogurt)
- 10 g Baking powder (about 1 sachet)
- 150 g All‑purpose flour
- 150 g Granulated sugar
- 1 pinch Salt
- 50 g Almond flour
- 80 g Unsalted butter (melted)
- 3 units Eggs (at room temperature)
- 50 g Dark chocolate chips (70% cocoa)
Instructions
Preheat the oven and prepare the pan
Preheat the oven to 180°C for at least 10 minutes. Butter and flour the loaf pan.

Melt the butter
Melt the 80 g of butter over low heat or in the microwave, without letting it brown.

Beat the eggs and sugar
Crack the 3 eggs into the mixer bowl, add the 150 g of sugar and whisk on medium speed until the mixture lightens and doubles in volume.

Incorporate the cream and melted butter
Pour the 150 ml of liquid cream (or milk/yogurt) then the melted butter, mixing gently until homogeneous.
