Troubleshooting
Feta is too dry or hard after cooking
Reduce baking time to 15‑18 minutes or cover the dish with aluminum foil halfway through.
Tomatoes remain firm and do not confit
Make sure the oven is fully preheated to 180°C and extend cooking by an additional 5 minutes.
Pasta is overcooked
Follow the time indicated on the package and taste to verify al dente.
Storage
Refrigerator: Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3 to 4 days.
Freezer: Not recommended, the feta texture deteriorates after freezing.
Room temperature: Leave at room temperature no more than 2 hours.
Make-Ahead Tips
- Prepare the tomato, basil and garlic mixture the day before and keep it refrigerated.
- Feta can be cooked ahead and gently reheated before mixing with the pasta.
