- 4 pieces Garlic Cloves (minced)
- 1 inch piece Ginger (minced)
- 2 medium Tomato (chopped)
- 1 teaspoon Red Chili Powder (adjust to heat preference)
- ½ teaspoon Turmeric Powder
- 2 teaspoons Coriander Powder
- 1 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
- ½ teaspoon Mustard Seeds
- ¼ teaspoon Fenugreek Seeds
- 1 handful Curry Leaves
- 3 tablespoons Vegetable Oil (or Coconut Oil) (for tempering)

Instructions
Prepare Tamarind Juice
Combine the tamarind paste with 1 cup warm water, stir, and strain through a fine mesh sieve to obtain a smooth tamarind juice.

Place the fish pieces in a bowl, sprinkle with a pinch of salt and 1 tsp turmeric, toss gently and let rest for 10 minutes.
