Ingredients
- 2 pounds Salmon Fillets (skin on or off, wild‑caught if possible)
- 2 pounds Asparagus (fresh, trimmed)
- 2 tablespoons Olive Oil (extra virgin recommended)
- 2 teaspoons Salt (divided between seasoning salmon/asparagus and butter mixture)
- 0.5 teaspoons Black Pepper (freshly ground, divided between seasoning and butter)
- 0.5 cup Unsalted Butter (softened at room temperature)
- 2 tablespoons Fresh Lemon Juice (about 1 lemon, freshly squeezed)
- 2 teaspoons Fresh Parsley (finely chopped)
- 2 large Garlic Cloves (pressed or minced)
- 4 slices Lemon Slices (for topping the salmon)

Set the oven to 450°F and let it fully preheat.

Prepare Baking Sheet
Line the large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper, making sure the paper does not hang over the edges.

Place the 2 lb of salmon fillets down the center of the prepared sheet.

Prepare Asparagus
Snap off the woody ends of the asparagus, toss the spears with 2 Tbsp olive oil, a pinch of salt and pepper, and arrange them around the salmon.

Soften Butter
If the butter is not already soft, let it sit at room temperature for 5 minutes or microwave in 10‑second bursts, stirring between bursts.
