- 4 cups Water (cold tap water, enough to cover eggs by about 1 inch)
Instructions
Prepare the pot and eggs
Place the 6 cold eggs in a large saucepan and add cold water until the eggs are covered by about 1 inch.

Bring to a full rolling boil
Set the stove to high heat and bring the water to a full rolling boil. Watch for a vigorous, steady boil.

Turn off heat and let sit
